The Champions Chess Tour is a 16-player event with the world's best including Carlsen, Nakamura, Ding Liren, Aronian, Giri, Radjabov, Firouzja and more. 15 preliminary rounds will decide the top 8 players who will play the knockout. The rest 8 will be eliminated. The big interest for Indians is the participation of GM Vidit Gujrathi.
This is how the schedule looks on day 2 - 23rd November:
10.30 p.m. IST - Karjakin vs Vidit
11.30 p.m. IST - Vidit vs Nakamura
12.30 a.m. IST - Le Quang Liem vs Vidit
1.30 a.m. IST - Vidit vs MVL
2.30 a.m. IST - Wesley So vs Vidit
Time control 15 mins + 10 seconds increment
We will also be looking at other games but the focus will revolve around Vidit's games.
